Through the use of unannealed glass, unfired clay, unbroken thread, and personal relics, Shape Between Intimacy draws on the tactile responsiveness of material to create a dialogue about the emotional and physical connections within personal relationships. By gathering materials in ‘unfinished’ states, their raw qualities begin to reflect the fragility of those connections. Together, the curation of objects becomes a meditative collection of the influences and dynamics of intimate relationships.
